Kim Shin Advances at U.S. Women's Amateur

Erie, PA - Incoming Washington freshman Kim Shin of Mountlake Terrace finished tied for 21st after Tuesday's second round of stroke play at the 104th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and has advanced into the 64-player field of match play.After shooting 6-over 78 during Monday's opening round at the The Kahkwa Club in Erie, Pa., Shin rebounded with a 1-over 73 on Tuesday.Shin is scheduled to play Columbia's Carolina Llano during Wednesday's opening round of match play at 1:22 p.m. ET.
