Coughlin Wins Silver With 400 Relay

ATHENS, Greece - Former Cal swimmer Natalie Coughlin won her first Olympic medal today on the opening evening of swim competition at the 2004 Athens Olympics as a member of the American 4x100-meter relay team. The team of Kara Lyn Joyce, Natalie Coughlin, Amanda Weir and Jenny Thompson won the silver with a time of 3:36.39.
