Men's Soccer Team Ranked No. 7 In NSCAA Pre-Season Poll

The UCLA men's soccer team has been ranked No. 7 in the NSCAA/adidas preseason coaches' poll. The Bruins, which finished the 2003 campaign with a 20-2-1 record, will face one other team in the Top 25, 24th-ranked Creighton.Defending NCAA champion Indiana sits atop the polls, followed by St. John's, Maryland, Saint Louis, Santa Clara, North Carolina and UCLA. Wake Forest, Notre Dame and Connecticut round out the Top 10.The Bruins open the 2004 season with an exhibition game against San Diego State on Saturday, Aug. 28. The game will take place at Irvine Valley College at 1 pm. The season opener is on Sept. 3 vs. Oakland at 5 pm at Cal State Fullerton.NSCAA/adidas National Pre-Season Rankings
