No. 19 Women's Golf Set To Compete At Fall Preview

Stanford, Calif. - The 19th-ranked Stanford women's golf team heads to Sunriver, Ore. for the 2004 Fall Preview, Sept. 20-22, at The Meadows Course. Teams will play 18 holes each day for a total of 54. The lowest four scores from each five-member team count toward the team total each day. The Meadows Course plays to 6,300 yards and carries a par of 71; altitude is 4,250 feet.

Competition begins Monday and Tuesday at 8 a.m. with teams going off the No. 1 tee. Wednesday's final round will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

A total of 21 teams make up the field at The Fall Preview: host Oregon State, defending national champion UCLA, Oregon, USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Stanford, California, Oklahoma State, Duke, Vanderbilt, Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Texas A&M and New Mexico.
