FSN to Provide Tickets and Shirts for this Saturday Pac-10 Game
Sept. 26, 2004
Corvallis, Ore. - FSN's coverage of the Oregon State Beavers vs. Cal Bears at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 2 will go well beyond the telecast, as the network is providing additional opportunities for OSU fans to get out to Reser Stadium and show their support for the Beavers in front of a national television audience.
Recognized as some of the most passionate fans in collegiate football, FSN plans to reward the members of Beaver Nation with a ticket giveaway opportunity on the Northwest Sports Report as well as by providing free t-shirts to the student section and fans attending the FSN Fan Fair.
From September 25 - October 1, Beaver fans will have the chance to win tickets to see OSU vs. Cal on October 2 through the Northwest Sports Report's Beaver Trivia Contest. Tune in to the NSR at 10:00p.m., where at some point during the show a Beaver trivia question will be read live on air. The first fan to call in with the correct answer each night a question is read will win four tickets to see OSU take on the Bears at Reser Stadium.
For those lucky enough to have tickets to the game, FSN will provide free t-shirts to the most energetic fans in the student section and at the FSN Fan Fair. The FSN Fan Fair, located in the Truax Indoor Center, opens three hours before every home game and is open to the public.
From the large contingent of Beavers faithful in attendance that afternoon, only one will be chosen as the FSN Fan of the Game. That fan will be honored on the field and presented with a game ball for their enthusiastic support of the OSU football program.
For Beavers enthusiasts such as the FSN Fan of the Game who want to see more than what happens on the field, FSN has a weekly program dedicated to the Oregon State football program, The Beaver Football Show. On every Wednesday night following an OSU football game, the show airs at 10:30pm throughout September, but will move to 7:00pm beginning in October. This is the show that Beaver Believers won't want to miss. Every week, The Beaver Football Show will take viewers inside the locker room, on the road, and behind the scenes, learning every angle of Mike Riley's program. Hosted by ex-NFL and Beaver quarterback Steve Preece, it's a show as intense as the OSU fans who watch it.
