The WASHINGTON Huskies have run their winning streak to 10 and they've done it all on the road. Now the nation's second-ranked team will have a chance to show the hometown crowd how they've accomplished it this season as they host the Oregon schools this weekend... CALIFORNIA and STANFORD, both undefeated in league play after the opening weekend, will be the featured match on FOX Sports Net this week... USC and UCLA travel to the desert to face ARIZONA and ARIZONA STATE where each school is hungry for their first Pac-10 win of the season... Here's this week's schedule (all times local to site):

PAC-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SANJA TOMASEVIC, WASHINGTON

WASHINGTON outside hitter Sanja Tomasevic has been named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Sept. 20-26, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced.

Tomasevic, a senior from Uzice, Serbia & Montenegro, led the Huskies to a pair of road victories at No. 10 UCLA and No. 2 USC. It was the first time since 1997 that Washington swept the Los Angeles road swing.

Tomasevic finished the week with 45 kills (5.00 kpg) on 115 attempts with 14 errors for a .270 hitting percentage, collecting 26 digs (2.89 dpg) and nine blocks (1.00 bpg). She posted 27 kills, 12 digs and eight block assists against UCLA. She added 18 kills and 14 digs in teh win at USC.

Tomasevic now has 1,133 career kills, which ranks eighth all-time on the Washington charts.

This is the second weekly honor for Tomasevic, and Washignton's 13th Pac-10 Player of the Week all-time.

PAC-10 NOTES

ARIZONA - Junior OH Kim Glass saw her first action of the season and tallied 31 kills (3.88 kpg) and 11 blocks (1.38 bpg) in losses at Stanford and California... Arizona also opened the 2003 season with a pair of losses, but rallied to win 10 of its final 16 Pac-10 matches... The Wildcats have used a different starting lineup four times over the last six matches... Arizona's five-match winning streak over UCLA is the tied for the third longest winning streak in conference play by a Pac-10 team over the Bruins. Stanford had a winning streak of eight matches over UCLA from 1995-98, and is currently on a six-match streak. USC won five straight from 1996-98.

ARIZONA STATE - Freshman MB Collette Meek has posted three or more blocks in all 10 matches this season. Meek continues to lead all Pac-10 freshmen in blocking with 1.38 bpg, which ranks fifth in the league... Sophomore OH Nicole Martin has led the Sun Devils in kills in seven of 10 matches this season, including the last five... The Sun Devils look to snap a 16-match losing streak against USC that dates back to the 1995 season...

CALIFORNIA - Senior OH Gabrielle Abernathy needs 13 kills to reach 1,000 for her career... Abernathy tied a school record when she posted nine service aces in the win over Arizona State... Abernathy also got the best of her sister, Jennifer, who is a junior OH at Arizona. Gabrielle collected 21 kills and hit .415, while Jennifer tallied 13 kills with a 0.71 attack percentage... The Golden Bears hit the road for the next four matches, all against ranked opponents - No. 13 Santa Clara, No. 11 Stanford, No. 10 UCLA and No. 3 USC... Freshman OH Angie Pressey is the Pac-10's top freshman in kills (4.24 kpg) and points (4.58 ppg).

OREGON - Senior RS Lauren Westendorf will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee during Oregon's match with Oregon State. She posted a team-leading 182 kills (5.06 kpg) and recorded double digit kills in each of the Duck's 11 matches this season... With Westendorf injured, the Ducks went to sophomore OH Erin Little. Little responded with 13 kills in 31 attempts with four errors (.290) in three games. Prior to the OSU match, Little tallied a total of 11 kills in 42 attempts in 15 games played this season... With 2.74 service aces per game, the Ducks lead the league in aces by a significant margin. Washington is second with 1.76 service aces per game. Oregon has 107 service aces this season, compared to 111 aces for the entire 2003 season.

OREGON STATE - Senior OH Allison Lawrence become the 10th OSU player all-time to reach 1,000 kills for her career after collecting 17 kills in the win over Oregon. Her career total stands at 1,013 kills... The Beavers' victory over Oregon marked the first time OSU opened Pac-10 play with a win since knocking off USC in 1996... Junior S Desma Stovall recorded a career-high 20 digs against Oregon. Stovall is fourth in the Pac-10, averaging 12.23 assists per game.... As a team, OSU is hitting .277 for the season, and have four matches in which it hit .300 or better. The school single-season record for attack percentage is .237 by the 1996 squad.

STANFORD - The Cardinal have won six straight... The Cardinal look for a little revenge this week as it takes on Saint Mary's in a non-conference match. Saint Mary's upended the Cardinal in five games earlier this season at the SBC/Sands Regency Volleyball Tournament in Reno, Nev.... Senior OH Ogonna Nnamani now has 1,843 career kills, which rank third all-time at Stanford and ninth on the Pac-10 career list... Nnamani (5.27 kpg) and sophomore OH Kristin Richards (4.00 kpg) form the top hitting tandem in the Pac-10, combining for 9.27 kpg... Senior OH Jennifer Hucke continues to have the hot hand for the Cardinal. She hit .467 over the weekend, picking up 14 kills in 30 attempts... The next victory for the Cardinal will be coach John Dunning's 100th as Stanford's head coach.

UCLA - Senior MB Brynn Murphy became the 20th player in school history to reach 1,000 kills. Her career total stands at 1,012 ranking 19th in UCLA history and 88th in Pac-10 history... Senior L Chrissie Zartman now stands at 1,577 career digs. She is UCLA's career digs leader and is now fourth on the Pac-10 all-time list. She's posted 20 or more digs in six matches this season... Sophomore MB Nana Meriwether is hitting .434 over the last three matches, collecting 28 kills (2.55 kpg) in 53 attempts with just five errors... Sophomore OH Becky Green doubled her season service aces total to 10 after posting a career-best five aces against Washington State.

USC - Senior MB Emily Adams posted 18 total blocks (16 assisted, 2 solo) in the loss to Washington. The total ties for third most total blocks in school history, and ties for fifth in Pac-10 history... USC has won 16 straight over Arizona State dating back to 1996. Eleven of those matches were 3-0 sweeps, including the last six. USC has won 48 games to the Sun Devils' seven games during that span... Sophomore L Debora Seilhamer recorded 25 digs in the loss to Washington. It was the fourth time this season she has tallied 20 or more digs in a match. She ranks fourth in the Pac-10 with 4.87 dpg.

WASHINGTON - The Huskies continued to push their winning streak to 10 matches. However, they saw their consecutive games won streak end at 24 when UCLA won game two in their match last Friday... The Huskies swept the Los Angeles road swing for the first time since 1997... Four Huskies recorded back-to-back double digit kill matches against USC and UCLA - Freshman OH Christal Morrison (15/18), junior OH Brie Hagerty (10/18), junior MB Darla Myhre (10/11), Senior, OH Sanja Tomasevic (27/18)... With 1,007 career digs, senior L Candace Lee became the fourth player in school history to record 1,000 digs in a career.

WASHINGTON STATE - The Cougars look to extend their 26-match winning streak over Oregon. During that streak, WSU has swept the Ducks 19 times, including the last 10 matches... Sophomore OH Jennifer Todd has posted double digit kills in five straight matches, recording 63 kills (3.94 kpg). Todd ranks sixth in the Pac-10 with 4.70 points per game... The Cougars look to avoid an 0-3 start to league play for the first time since 2000. That season they opened Pac-10 play at 0-4, but battled back to win eight of their last 11 league matches and earned an NCAA Tournament berth.
