Women's Golf Fourth After First Round Of Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

Sammamish, Wash. - The No. 6 USC women's golf team shot a 16-over 304 on Monday and are in fourth in the team race after one round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational held at Sahalee Country Club.

USC trails Oklahoma State (296) by eight strokes for the team lead, while Pepperdine is second at 298. Oregon (300) is third and Stanford (308) is fifth.

Sophomores Veronica Felibert and Catalina Marin lead the Women of Troy after each shot a 75 to tie for ninth. Karin Sodjin of Oklahoma State is on top after shooting 70.

Also for USC, junior Irene Cho is tied for 15th (76), junior Tanya Dergal is tied for 25th (78) and junior Seiko Onoue is tied for 38th (79).

Round two of the tournament resumes on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m.
