UW's Oct. 30 Football Game at Oregon Moves to 4 p.m.
Oct. 21, 2004
Seattle - Washington's Oct. 30 football game at Oregon has been moved to a 4 p.m. kickoff. The game was originally scheduled for a 12:30 start. The contest will be broadcast on regional cable television by FSN Northwest. Jim Watson and Sonny Sixkiller will provide the commentary.
An open window in the Pacific-10 Conference's television coverage for that Saturday's games allows for a local telecast in the afternoon. Officials at Washington and Oregon worked this week to coordinate a mutually acceptable broadcast time slot. Oregon will carry the game on its Oregon Sports Network.
The game will be Washington's sixth game scheduled for telecast this season. The Huskies season opener against Fresno State and Oct. 23 game at USC were broadcast on national cable by FSN. ABC Sports aired the UCLA game and will carry the Nov. 20 Apple Cup matchup between the Huskies and Washington State. The Notre Dame game was televised by NBC.
