Stahle 14th Heading into Final Round at Women's World Amateur

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - Freshman Louise Stahle stands in 14th place individually heading into the final round of the Women's World Amateur Championships, being held Oct. 20-23 at the Rio Mar Country Club.
Stahle, who is representing Sweden at the event, shot an even-par 72 in Friday's third round and is in 14th place with a three-round total of two-over 218 (75-71-72).
Sweden continues to rank second in the team competition, shooting a two-under 142 on Friday for a three-round total of five-under 427 (144-141-142). The Swedish team trails first-place Canada by two strokes (137-145-143=425), while the United States is third at two-under 430 (139-147-144).
Stahle is joined by Oklahoma State's Karin Sjodin and California's Sofie Andersson on the Swedish team. Sjodin is leading the individual competition with a three-day total of six-under 210 (69-70-71), while Andersson is tied for 17th (77-72-71=220).
