OSU Ties CAL-BERKELEY 0-0 IN DOUBLE OVERTIME

Berkeley, Calif. - Oregon State tied Cal-Berkeley 0-0 in double overtime Friday afternoon at Edwards Stadium. The tie brings Oregon State to 8-8-1 overall and 2-3-1 in conference, while Berkeley is 9-4-3 on the year and 2-2-2 in the pac-10.
'It was a great battling performance today,' OSU head coach Steve Fennah said. 'We had hard work throughout the team, back to front defensively, we created a couple of good opportunities, Cal. did a great job as well. It was a great college game, an exciting game, well refereed and well played by both teams.'
Fennah highlighted the performance of goalkeeper Melissa Onstad today. Onstad out saved the Bears goalkeeper 9-3 during the game, playing a strong role in the Beavers defense.
OSU will continue on the road, taking on Stanford Sunday at 1 p.m.
'We need to get ourselves ready for Sunday and go take on Stanford,' Fennah said. 'We have to bring the same work, we have to bring the same desire.'
