Lepp Finishes 18th at World Amateur

Rio Grande, Puerto Rico - Washington junior James Lepp finished 18th at the World Amateur Team Championships in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico after Sunday's final round was cancelled due to inclement weather. Lepp finished the event at 4-under 212. His effort helped Canada to a fourth-place showing among the 66 teams competing. A native of Abbotsford, British Columiba, Lepp had scores of 73, 70 and 69.

Puyallup native Ryan Moore took medalist honors at 12-under 204. The U.S. won the team championship with a three-round score of 407. Spain was second at 416, Sweden third at 417 and Canada fourth at 422.
