Eisenberg Named to Second Team Academic All-District Team

BERKELEY, Calif. - California junior forward Liz Eisenberg was selected to the second team CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII team for women's soccer.

The mass communications major leads the Golden Bears in points (21), goals (9) and game-winning goals (3) in 2004 after posting a combined four points as a freshman and sophomore. A product of San Rafael, Calif., Eisenberg is tied for fourth in the Pac-10 in points and goals.

Eisenberg posted her first career hat trick in a 5-1 victory over San Jose State Sept. 12, earning Pac-10 Player of the Week and Soccer America Team of the Week honors. She notched her latest game-winning score in Cal's 5-1 triumph over Oregon Oct. 31.

No. 13 Cal (10-4-3, 3-2-2 Pac-10) wraps up the regular season this weekend at Washington State and Washington.
