TBS To Televise ASU-Washington State Football Game
Nov. 8, 2004
TBS (Turner Broadcasting) will televise the Washington State at Arizona State football game at 5 p.m. MT this Saturday, Nov. 13, ASU Director of Athletics Gene Smith announced Monday.
The decision by TBS to televise the game means that all 11 of ASU's regular season games in 2004 will have been televised. In fact, following the regular-season finale against Arizona on Nov. 26, the streak will be at 13 in a row dating back to the final two games of the 2003 season.
TBS will use Ron Thulin (play-by-play), Charles Davis (color commentary) and Craig Sager (sidelines) to call the action versus the Cougars.
This week's game is Senior Day for ASU, a date in which the Sun Devils will honor 13 seniors playing in their final home football game. Also, ASU will retire the No. 42 of the late U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman, who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this year. Members of Tillman's family will be on hand for the ceremony.
