WSU Baseball Coaches Host Coaching Clinics

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State baseball coaching staff, including head coach Donnie Marbut, associate head coach Travis Jewett, pitching coach Ryan Brust, and assistant coach Dugan Moran, and Kevin Matthews from Skagit CC will conduct the first in a series of coaching clinics Dec. 18 and 19.

The coaches will be at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Wash., Dec. 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Capital High School in Olympia Dec. 19 from noon to 5:30 p.m.

Aspects of the game that will be covered by the coaches include infield play, hitting, pitching, outfield play, catching, practice planning, baserunning and stretch and flex programs.

The cost to attend is $40 for coaches and $20 for players. Future clinics will also be held throughout Washington including Tacoma, Vancouver and the Tri-Cities.
