UCLA's Lindsey Greco Named Women's Soccer Pac-10 Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - UCLA senior midfielder Lindsey Greco has been named the Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Nov. 2-8, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Greco, from Trabuco Canyon, Calif., scored the golden goal in double-overtime to help UCLA register a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over rival USC on Nov. 7. Her goal, scored at the 101:52 mark, helped the Bruins earn a share of the Pac-10 Championship with Arizona. It is the second straight Conference title for UCLA, which has won five in the 12-year history of the program. Greco finishes the regular season with seven points (two goals, three assists).
The Bruins (13-6-0 overall, 6-3-0 Pac-10) earned the No. 14 seed as an at -large selection in the NCAA Championship and will host Pepperdine in the first round on Friday. The winner will face the winner of the San Diego-UNLV matchup in second-round action on Sunday.
This is Greco's first Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and UCLA's 14th weekly honor all-time.
