Women's Tennis Makes Home Debut This Weekend At Husky Invitational

SEATTLE, Wash. - This weekend marks the first home appearance of the year for the Washington women's tennis team as they host the first ever Husky Invitational on Nov. 13-14. Matches will take place at the Nordstrom Tennis Center on the UW campus.

The event will feature the Huskies along with members of the Oregon, Boise State and Portland teams. The tournament will be divided into two singles flights and one flight of doubles. Play is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Several freshmen will be making their home Husky debuts including Cassy Fabiani, Allison Rainey, Tara Simpson and Keri Sugiyama.

The Husky Invitational will bring Washington's fall schedule to a close. The next chance fans have to come see the Dawgs in action will be the Pac-10 Indoors, scheduled for January 14-16.
