Matt Brock Named to Academic All-District Team

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State University senior football student-athlete Matt Brock has been selected to the 2004 Academic All-District VIII Football Team for the second consecutive year, it was announced Thursday.
Brock has 3.45 cumulative GPA and is a senior majoring in psychology/general science. The Roseburg native has started 35 consecutive games at center. Brock was a preseason candidate for the Dave Rimington Award, given annually to the nation's top center. He was an honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection last season.
Brock is one of eight Pac-10 student-athletes on the 24-member list. District VIII includes the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
