Findley Is Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player Of The Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State sophomore forward Robbie Findley has been named the Pacific-10 men's soccer Player of the Week for Nov. 9-15, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced Tuesday.
Findley (Phoenix, Ariz./Shadow Mountain HS) accounted for all of the Beavers' scoring in Oregon State's 3-2 overtime victory over No. 9 Washington. After a scoreless first half, the Huskies jumped out to a 1-0 lead early in the second period before Findley found net in the 57th and 74th minutes. The Huskies tied it up with seven minutes left in regulation, forcing overtime. In the game's 94th minute, Findley scored the golden goal to give the Beavers the victory.
With the hat trick, Findley finished the season with a team-leading eight goals, good for second most (tied) in the Pac-10. His 19 points on the season also led the Beavers, and was tied for third most in the conference.
Oregon State's season concluded with three straight victories, including conference wins over Pac-10 Champion UCLA and Washington.
This is the second weekly honor for Findley, and the ninth all-time player of the week honor for the Beavers.
