Beaver Game-Day: The most anticipated season in years for both the Oregon State men's and women's basketball programs tip-off Nov. 17 when the men travel to Raleigh, NC to play Siena in the first round of the BCA Invitational (radio coverage begins at 10:45 AM). Long-time partner 1190 KEX in Portland and 1240 KEJO in the Willamette Valley will once again anchor the 17-station Beaver Sports Network. The 'Voice of the Beavers' - Mike Parker will cover the action of all regular season and post-season action for the OSU men.

990 AM: will be the permanent home for women's hoops this season with Jon Warren calling the action. 990 AM is a sister station to 1240 KEJO as part of the Clear Channel station-group covering Albany/Corvallis and the Willamette Valley.

Men's basketball consists of a 30-minute pre and post game show (15-minute pre-game for women). For women's broadcasts select games will air across not only 990 AM but additional Beaver stations across Oregon. Closer to the season www.osubeavers.com will list those games.Pac-10 on X/M Satellite Radio: The Pacific-10 Conference has entered into an agreement with XM Radio, America's leading provider of satellite radio with over 2.1 million subscribers, to bring collegiate football and men's and women's basketball games to listeners across the country starting this fall. Each football Saturday XM Radio will broadcast select Pac-10 games of the week. As part of the official satellite radio partner of the Pac-10 and ACC, XM Radio will carry the football and basketball games as part of its basic channel line-up. Internet Broadcasts (www.osubeavers.com): All men's and women's games and Beaver Sports Talk shows are available (live and archived) at www.osubeavers.com through a partnership with Yahoo! Sports. In 2003, the Beaver Sports Network reached an agreement with Yahoo! Sports to be part of a national network of real-time sports programming on the Internet generating revenues for the athletic department.

Beaver Sports Talk: Mike Parker and Jon Warren will again host Beaver Sports Talk with Jay John and Judy Spoelstra every Tuesday at 7 p.m. live from the Fox and Firkin (1st and Madison) in downtown Corvallis. Beaver Sports Talk is open to the public and airs across the Beaver Sports Network or through www.osubeavers.com. The first show for basketball will begin Nov. 23.

Joe Beaver Show on 1240 KEJO: Mike Parker and Jon Warren will again host a weekly Beaver-themed program on KEJO 1240 Joe Radio in the Willamette Valley. New this year will be a weekly segment with Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis airing on Wednesdays. The Joe Beaver Show airs weekdays from Noon-2 p.m.

TelevisionLive Telecasts: FSN and in-state Beaver Sports Television Network will televise 15 Oregon State men's and women's basketball games live this winter. As part of the Pac-10 Conference the Beavers will air on both FSN and the regional cable network-FSN Northwest during year. The in-state Beaver Sports Television Network is scheduled to also broadcast three men's games in addition to the women's Civil War game on January 8 in Corvallis. Beaver Sports Television Network is a partnership with between Oregon State Athletics (through Beaver Sports Properties) and KVAL-TV in Eugene. The state-wide network consists of KVAL (CBS) in Eugene, KPDX (UPN) in Portland, KPIC (CBS), Roseburg and KCBY (CBS), Coos Bay/North Bend and KOBI (NBC) in Medford. KEX 1190 sports director Scott Lynn and Todd McKim (KVAL-TV) anchor most BSN telecasts.New this year the men's contests vs. Arizona State and Washington State in Corvallis feature a special tip-off time for the Thursday games to accommodate television (link to Jay John letter).

Beavers in Central California: OSU Athletics, through Beaver Sports Properties, will replay BSN telecasts in Central California region on the new Comcast SportsNet West sports channel. Comcast SportsNet West launched November 2 a new 24-hour a day, seven day a week Central California regional sports network to a 350-mile territory that stretches from Visalia and Fresno north to include the greater Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento, and Chico areas. The network, which will be channel 34 in all Comcast markets throughout the region, will also be made available to all cable and satellite operators in the area. In addition, the network's coverage area will expand into the Bay Area to include San Francisco by January 2005. BSN games will air live unless they conflict with a Sacramento Kings telecast or other previously scheduled program. In those cases they will air as a replay later in the week. This past September Comcast announced a 10-year agreement with the Sacramento Kings (NBA).

FSN Beaver Basketball Show: Beginning in December FSN (Northwest) will produce a weekly segment giving fans an inside look at Beaver basketball. Airing Wednesday nights on the new FSN Live show at 10:00 p.m., the format for the Beaver basketball segment will be a fast-paced view into the program and how the Beavs prepare for the up-coming game(s).Inside the Pac on KVAL Ch. 13- During the season KVAL sports director Todd McKim (and BSN color analyst) will again host weekly interviews with Jay John and Judy Spoelstra on the Eugene-station's Inside the Pac show. The basketball edition of Inside the Pac will air Sundays following NCAA basketball on CBS beginning with the start of Pac-10 play in January.
