Nov. 17, 2004

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State has signed Jennifer Osborn of Huntington Beach, Calif., in the early signing period, third-year ASU women's golf coach Melissa Luellen announced Wednesday. Osborn expected to join the Sun Devil program in the fall of 2005.

Osborn comes to ASU from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, Calif. She earned American Junior Golf Association All-America honors in 2003-04 and was the 2002 California state high school golf champion. She is ranked 19th in the country in the Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings.

'Jennifer is a young lady who is already a great player but will continue to get better and better,' Luellen said. 'She is extremely focused on her golf game and on reaching her goals of playing on the LPGA Tour. I think Arizona State is the best place for her to reach her goals.'
