Eleven from women's soccer earn Pac-10 All-Academic

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State's Cara Miller was named to the first team when the Pacific-10 All-Academic Team for women's soccer was announced Thursday. This is the second consecutive All-Academic selection for Miller. Earning honorable mention from OSU were Catherine Betts, Courtney Carter, Melena Ertler, Tiara Hong, Amy Johnson, Janelle Joy, Sara LaFleur, Stacey Mescher, Elizabeth Money, Lauren Wippel.
To be recognized for All-Academic team, players had to be in at least their second year at their current school, have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be a starter or significant contributor to their team.
Miller (Corvallis, Ore. - Corvallis HS) a junior, has a 3.96 GPA and is majoring in Apparel Design.
