Three from men's soccer earn All-Academic

Corvallis, Ore. - Three players from Oregon States men's soccer team earned first team Pacific-10 All-Academic honors when they were announced Thursday. Sophomore Bryan Jordan, redshirt freshman Jason Mariner, and sophomore Nathan Quan all earned their first all-academic honors this year.

To be recognized for All-Academic team, players had to be in at least their second year at their current school, have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be a starter or significant contributor to their team.

Jordan (Temple City, Calif. - Temple City HS) a sophomore, has a 3.69 GPA and is majoring in applied visual arts.Mariner (Phoenix, Ariz. - Pinnacle HS) a redshirt freshman, has a 3.64 GPA and is majoring in Civil Engineering.Quan (Burnaby, British Columbia - Prince of Wales HS) a sophomore, has a 3.72 GPA and is majoring in Exercise and Sports Science.
