Matt Brock and Bill Swancutt Earn Academic Recognition

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State University senior football student-athletes Matt Brock and Bill Swancutt have been selected to the Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic First Team for the second consecutive year, it was announced Tuesday.

Brock, who is a psychology major, was recently selected to the academic all-district team. Swancutt is a business major. Both student-athletes have started 37 consecutive games.

Senior Pat Loney (liberal studies) and sophomore Adam Koets (business) were selected to the second team. Junior placekicker John Dailey and redshirt-freshman quarterback Ryan Gunderson earned honorable mention acclaim.
