Ducks Roll Past Marshall

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Freshman Bryce Taylor scored 18 points to lead fiveOregon players in double figures and the Ducks breezed to an 89-69 victory overMarshall on Saturday night.
Aaron Brooks added 16 points and freshman Malik Hairston had 15 for Oregon(3-0). Ian Crosswhite scored 13 and freshman Chamberlain Oguchi scored 11.
Oregon, which has no seniors, led the entire game and made 61 percent of itsshots, including 13-of-21 3-pointers. The much-taller Ducks held a 37-22rebounding advantage.
Oregon scored the final 10 points of the first half to jump ahead 39-24. TheThundering Herd closed the gap to eight midway through in the second halfbefore Brooks, who had 13 points in the second half, hit a pair of 3-pointersand Marshall never threatened again.
Mark Patton and Tre Whitted had 17 points apiece for Marshall (1-2).
The game was the second in a two-year, neutral-site agreement between theschools. Oregon beat Marshall last year 90-61 in Portland, Ore.
