Cal remaings in second at the Georgia Fall Invitational after the second day of races

BERKELEY - Lead by sophomore Helen Silver and senior Lauren Medina, Cal remains in second place at the Georgia Fall Invitational. Cal (611) trails Georgia (882) and leads Minnesota (412), Florida State (359), Notre Dame (177), Michigan State (177), Emor, 65, and Virginia Tech (divers only, 18).

The Bear 200 yard medley relay team was second. Sophomore Sherry Tsai, freshman Genevieve Patterson, senior Emily Palsson, freshman Emily Silver finished in 1:41.59. Senior Lauren Medina was first in the 200 yard freestyle (1:47.17). Sophomore Erin Reilly was third in the 200 yard freestyle (1:47.58). Sophomore Anne Babicz was second in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:01.77). Junior Helen Silver was first in the 100 yard backstroke (54.96). Sophomore Sherry Tsai was second in the 100 yard backstroke (55.79). The Bear 800 yard freestyle relay team was first. Junior Ashley Chandler, sophomore Erin Reilly, freshman Emily Silver, senior Lauren Medina finished in 7:10.10.
