ASU Announces Vitalis Sun Bowl Ticket Donation Plan

Dec. 7, 2004

Arizona State University is encouraging all fans who are unable to attend the Vitalis Sun Bowl on December 31st to donate their tickets to charitable organizations in El Paso, Athletics Director Gene Smith announced Tuesday. This unique program provides charitable groups in the greater El Paso community the opportunity to attend and experience one of the oldest and most exciting traditions in all of intercollegiate athletics, the 2004 Vitalis Sun Bowl game matching ASU and Purdue.

Through your generous donation, the Sun Devil Athletic Department offers donated tickets to several local organizations in the El Paso community. In the past, this program has sent hundreds of people to bowl games across the country, giving the underprivileged the chance to see a big-time college football game in their own backyard. With your contribution of donated tickets you will help to continue this amazing experience, while also supporting the Sun Devils in their goal of winning the 2004 Vitalis Sun Bowl.

Tickets can be donated by calling the Sun Devil Ticket Office at 480-965-2381 or by stopping by the office. You may also order online at www.thesundevils.com by clicking on 'Tickets', 'Click Here to Purchase ASU Tickets', then the 'Sun Bowl Donate Tickets' button, beginning Tuesday, December 7th at 9 a.m.
