Jonathan Pollard Selected to the Hula Bowl Roster

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State University senior football student-athlete Jonathan Pollard has been invited to play in the Hula Bowl All-Star game. The contest will be played at 4 p.m. PST Sat., Jan. 22 in Maui.
Pollard, who is the 38th player in OSU history to be picked to compete in the Hula Bowl, is eighth on the team for total tackles with 37 and is fifth among current Beavers for career tackles with 118. The linebacker from Las Vegas missed two games (Stanford, USC) with an ankle sprain. He was recently selected to the 2004 Pacific-10 Conference Honorable Mention team.
Pollard is the fifth Beaver to be selected to a postseason all-star game. Quarterback Derek Anderson, offensive tackle Doug Nienhuis, cornerback Aric Williams and defensive end Bill Swancutt are scheduled to play in the Jan. 15 East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco.
