Washington Falls To No. 22 UCLA, 74-63

Seattle (AP) - Noelle Quinn scored 18 points as UCLA (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) defeated Washington 74-63 on Sunday afternoon.

The Bruins led by as much as 13 in the second half, but Washington pulled to within three points at 63-60 with just four minutes to play when Emily Florence hit a 3-pointer. UCLA countered with consecutive scores to ensure the win.

The Bruins (11-3, 5-0 Pac-10) extended their winning streak to five games with their third straight victory over the Huskies.

The duo of Quinn and Nikki Blue, who came into the game with an average of 3.45 steals per game, combined for eight steals and the Bruins had a total of 14 steals overall.

Blue finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. Lindsey Plumier added 14 points for UCLA.

Kristen O'Neill scored a career-high 19 points for the Huskies (6-10, 2-4 Pac-10). Her previous high was 18 against California on Jan. 16, 2003.

Washington jumped out to a quick 10-point lead in the first 20 minutes, but the Bruins stormed back. They held the Huskies scoreless over a six-minute span and kept them without a field goal over nine minutes as they went on a 23-5 run.

UCLA led at the half 39-29.
