Arizona State Announces Radio And TV Schedule For 2005 Season

TEMPE, Ariz. ( -- The Sun Devil Sports Network has announced they will broadcast 39 games of the 2005 Arizona State baseball season on KDUS 1060 AM. AZ-TV has also announced they will televise eight home games from Packard Stadium.

Tim Healey and Bob Eger return to the booth to call ASU's games over the airwaves. All games that are scheduled to be broadcast on the radio will also be available to out-of-town listeners on the internet at ASU's official athletic website, There is a small subscription fee to pick up the games through Yahoo! All 24 of ASU's Pac-10 games will be broadcast on the radio and the two additional non-conference games against the University of Arizona in Tucson will also be carried over the airwaves. Additional coverage includes two games against Long Beach State, two games against nationally ranked Baylor and the entire three-game series against Oklahoma.

AZ-TV is scheduled to broadcast eight games during the 2005 season, including two games against in-state rival Arizona (May 14-15) and a pair of games against Pac-10 nemesis Stanford (Apr. 15-16). George Allen and Doug Gerlach return to the press box to handle the play-by-play for AZ-TV. All AZ-TV games are broadcast locally on Cox Cable channel 13 and with your antenna on channel 27. AZ-TV is also broadcast on the local channel package on the Dish Network on channel 27. DirecTV does not carry AZ-TV and there are no satellite coordinates available for the games.

Television and radio schedules are subject to change, so please check your local listings and for updated listings. Conflicts may arise that will move some games to other AM stations. The complete 2005 Arizona State Baseball media schedule is as follows. The Pac-10 and FSN will announce their Pac-10 Baseball Games of the Week later in the month.

The Pat Murphy Show - ESPN Radio 860 AM:
The Pat Murphy Radio show will be held on Monday's throughout the season at 7 p.m. at Macayos Depot Cantina in downtown Tempe (5th and Ash). It will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 860 AM (KMVP). Fans are encouraged to come down and watch the show in person and enjoy some good Mexican food at Macayos. The show is scheduled to air on the following Monday's: Jan. 24, Jan. 31, Feb. 14, Feb. 21, Feb. 28, Mar. 7, Mar. 21, Mar. 28, Apr. 4, Apr. 11, Apr. 18, Apr. 25, May 2, May 9, May 23 and May 30.
