Freeman Memorial Tennis Championships - Day Three Results

Las Vegas, NV - The third and final day of the third annual Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championship has concluded, Georgia's No. 18 Shadisha Robinson coming away with the singles crown. The Freeman Memorial includes 10 of the nation's premier tennis programs, including No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Florida, No. 5 UCLA, No. 7 Southern California, No. 13 Georgia and No. 15 California, among others.

Freshmen Marion Ravelojaona and Tiffany Lee both bowed out in the semifinals of the consolation bracket, as did the doubles duo of Stephanie Kusano and Cristina Visico.

In an additional set of singles matches, Cristina Visico picked up a victory over Christyn Lucas of South Carolina, 7-6; 6-1. Junior Jessica Shu also notched a win, beating South Carolina's Grace Blakeley, 6-1; 6-7; 1-0 (10-4).

The Bears will next face Cal Poly, this Saturday, Jan. 22, at Berkeley's Hellman Tennis Center, 12:00 p.m.
