#11 Bruins Head North for Two, Face Stanford and Cal

The No. 11 UCLA Bruins will head north this weekend to take on Stanford and Cal in Pac-10 dual meet action. The Bruins will face the Cardinal on Friday, Jan. 28 and Cal on Saturday, Jan. 29. UCLA is 2-21 all-time against Stanford and 10-12 versus the Bears.
The Bruins will look to improve on their 5-1 record (2-1, Pac-10) this weekend. Several Bruins currently rank in the top-25 in collegiate swimming. Junior Kim Vandenberg ranks third in the 200 Fly (1:55.40) and eighth in the 100 Fly (54.10). Sophomores Jane Imagane (16:40.75) and Katie Nelson (16:40.75) rank 21st and 22nd respectively in the 1650 Freestyle. Freshman Nicolette Teo ranks 18th in the 200 Breast (2:16.16). The 800 Free Relay ranks 17th (7:25.60), the 200 Medley Relay is 18th (1:43.74), the 200 Free Relay ranks 20th (1:33.93) and the 400 Medley Relay ranks 21st (3:45.43).
After heading up north, the Bruins will head to crosstown rival USC on February 12 for the final Pac-10 dual meet of the season before Pac-10 Championships.
