Bruins Open Indoor Season at Husky Invite on Saturday

Currently, five Bruin women rank in the 'Dandy Dozen' according to Trackwire. Reigning NCAA Outdoor pole vault champion junior Chelsea Johnson is No. 1, while teammate junior Jackie Nguyen is ranked seventh. Junior Dawn Harper ranks fifth in the 60m hurdles, while senior Candice Baucham ranks third in the triple jump. Sophomore Kamaiya Warren ranks seventh in the shot put. The 4x400m relay team is ranked third and the distance medley relay is ranked ninth.

Looking Ahead

The Bruins will hit the road again, this time to Idaho for the Boise Indoor February 5. They will then head to Fayetteville, AR (the site of the 2005 NCAA Indoor Championships) for the Tyson Invitational February 12. The Bruins will return to Seattle, WA February 25-26 for the MPSF Indoor Championships, and then head back to Arkansas for the NCAA Indoor March 10-12.
