Men's Golf Team Opens Spring Season In Tucson Jan. 31-Feb. 1

The Arizona State University men's golf team opens its spring season this Monday (Jan. 31) and Tuesday (Feb. 1) in the PING-Arizona Intercollegiate held at the Arizona National Golf Club at Sabino Springs (par 71, 6,900 yards).

The 16-teams will play 36 holes on Monday and a final 18 holes on Tuesday.

There will be an 8 a.m. MST shotgun start each day, and ASU will field a lineup consisting of Jesse Mueller, Alejandro Canizares, Pat Moore, Charly Simon and Niklas Lemke.

The 16-team field includes: ASU, BYU, California, UC-Irvine, UC-Riverside, Colorado, Fresno State, Long Beach State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oregon, UTEP, Texas A & M, Tulsa and host Arizona (two squads).
