Ann Arbor, MI - Despite a winning all-around effort of 39.575 from senior Kristen Maloney, the third-ranked UCLA gymnastics team lost a dual meet at Michigan, 196.25-195.25, in front of a school record crowd of 5,039. UCLA and second-ranked Michigan were tied going into the final rotation, but the Bruins had to count a fall on beam.

The Wolverines recorded three straight 9.9+ scores to close the rotation, led by Jenny Deiley's meet-winning 9.95.
