Janice Davis Wins 60 Meter Title At Millrose Games

New York, NY - Janice Davis captured the 60 meter collegiate title on Friday night at the 98th annual Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden.
Davis defeated five other runners in a time of 7.34. Jenna Harris of Ohio State was second at 7.45.
Davis set an indoor school record in the prelims with a time of 7.32. That broke the previous school record of 7.35 set in 2003 by Jakki Bailey.
Last weekend, Davis opened the 2005 indoor season with a victory (7.45) at the Boise Invitational.
Several Stanford athletes also competed at the New York Armory Invitational on Friday. However, meet officials were experiencing troubles in producing results and indicated that Friday's results would not be available until Saturday.
