Men's Tennis Tackle the Gauchos of UC Santa Barbera, 6-1

Tempe, AZ - The Arizona State Men's Tennis Team remains undefeated after taking down the Gauchos of UC Santa Barbera 6-1 Sunday at the Whiteman Tennis Center.

The match started well for the Devils as they quickly swept doubles, with the Devil duo of Ryan McBride and Christopher Biro leading off with an 8-1 win over UCSB's Ivan d'Argence and Hagen Brody.

ASU found similar success in singles taking five our of six of the singles points.

Senior Andy Colombo came out strong with a decisive 6-3, 6-4 win over Ivan d'Argence.

Following Colombo's lead, sophomore, Nick Hegarty took down Anders Dalskov in a 6-3, 6-1 bout.

Almost all of their fellow Devils followed suit keeping their flawless season rolling as they move to (2-0) on the season, while the UCSB Gauchos fall to (1-3).

Next up, the men will return to action on Friday, February 11th against California.

The match is set to be played in Berkeley with a start time of 1:30 p.m.
