Women Of Troy Sixth After Two Rounds Of Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge

USC's women's golf team shot a 17-over par second round to move into sixth place on Tuesday (Feb. 8) after two days of the 2005 Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge held at Palos Verdes Country Club.
The Women of Troy, who were led on Tuesday by freshman Dewi Schreefel's team-best 2-over par and junior Irene Cho's 3-over par, are 40-over for the tournament, 16 shots behind first-place Pepperdine.
UCLA and Duke are tied for second (plus-25) and are followed by Florida (plus-31), Oklahoma State (plus-33) and USC.
Cho is USC's overall leader, a combined plus-6 after two rounds of 74 and is tied for eighth individually. Junior Tanya Dergal and Schreefel are both plus-11 after shooting 77 and 73, respectively.
Junior Seiko Onoue, competing individually and whose scores don't count toward the team competition, is tied for 12th at plus-7.
The tournament concludes on Wednesday (Feb. 9).
