Five Pac-10 teams competed in the 2005 NCAA Championships, with Conference Champion UCLA advancing to the finals for the second consecutive year, their fourth trip to the College Cup in the 13-year history of the program. Seeded as the No. 1 team in its region, UCLA captured its sixth Pac-10 women's soccer title with a 7-0-2 record in league play, 22-2-2 overall.
