No. 16 Softball Falls To Louisville, 5-2

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The No. 16 ranked Oregon State softball team dropped a 5-2 game against University of Louisville in Saturday night's action at the UNLV Desert Classic.

The Cardinals (4-2) took advantage of four Beaver (3-2) errors to earn the victory.

OSU starter Amy Klever (1-1) allowed five hits in four innings of work while Louisville tallied three runs - only one of which was earned.

Oregon State pinch hitter Brianne McGowan provided all of the scoring for the Beavers with a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Junior Lisa Allen, senior Alana Mendoza, and freshman Cambria Miranda also picked up hits for OSU.

The Beavers continue action at the UNLV Classic with a game against host UNLV. Originally scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m. the game was pushed back to an 11 p.m. start.
