WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Arizona guard Salim Stoudamire has been named the U.S. Bank Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for February 14-20, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Stoudamire, a senior from Portland, Ore., led Arizona to a home sweep of the Oregon schools, averaging 26.5 points while shooting 17-of-30 from the field (56.7 percent) and 13-of-20 from beyond the arc (65.0 percent). He opened the week with 22 points on 7-of-14 shooting (4-of-6 from three-point range) against Oregon.
