Last Four UW Men's Basketball Games Slated for TV
Feb. 21, 2005
SEATTLE - All four remaining Washington men's basketball regular-season games will be televised live, including the March 5 contest at Stanford that will be broadcast on CBS at 1 p.m. Pacific Time, the Pacific-10 Conference announced Monday.
The Huskies' game at California on Thursday, March 3 will air on FSN at 7:30 p.m.
The Pac-10 did not announce the game times and television schedule for the final week of the regular season until today so its broadcast partners could provide the best possible matchups.
Two other Pac-10 games will be televised on March 5 and both will air on FSN. Arizona plays at Arizona State at 3 p.m. PST and Oregon visits UCLA at 5 p.m. PST.
Both of Washington's final two home games will be broadcast this week by FSN. The Huskies host Arizona State, Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m.
Washington (21-4) is in second place in the Pac-10 standings with an 11-3 record. The Huskies trail first-place Arizona by one game in the loss column and can clinch at least a tie for the conference championship with victories in its final four regular-season games. UW has not won the Pac-10 since tying for back-to-back titles in 1984 and 1985. The last time the Huskies won a conference title outright was in 1953.
