USC Makes Return To Baseball America Top 25

Feb. 21, 2005

LOS ANGELES -- Based on its strong 4-0 start to the 2005 season, the USC Trojans made their return to Baseball America's Top 25 poll announced today with a No. 22 national ranking. USC earned a No. 20 ranking in last week's ESPN/USA Today Baseball Weekly poll with the most recent rankings to be released later today.

USC had a 7-2 lead over No. 3 Cal State Fullerton in yesterday's game before it was halted due to rain in the eighth inning. The Trojans are scheduled to play at UC Santa Barbara tomorrow although heavy rains in the southern California region threaten the game. USC will play a nonconference series at Stanford, starting on Friday (Feb. 25) at 5 p.m. with 1 p.m. starts on Saturday (Feb. 26) and Sunday (Feb. 27).

Stay tuned to for up-to-date information about this week's schedule.
