Arizona's Monica Bisordi Named Pac-10 Gymnast Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- ARIZONA senior Monica Bisordi has been named Pacific-10 Conference Gymnast of the Week for Feb. 14 -21, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Bisordi, hailing from San Mateo, Calif., captured her third straight all-around title while setting a new season high of 39.425 against then-No. 16 Oregon State on Feb. 18. Bisordi claimed at least a share of the title on three of the four individual events. Bisordi tied for first on the vault and bars with a score of 9.875 on both. In the floor exercise, Bisordi matched her season best score of 9.900 to win the individual title outright. She also placed third on the uneven bars with a score of 9.775 .

On the season, Bisordi has won three all-around titles, four beam titles, and one floor title.
