ASU Hosts 'Family Day at the Ballpark' This Weekend at Packard Stadium

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University baseball fans are encouraged to bring their families to Packard Stadium this weekend, February 26-27, for 'Family Days at the ballpark featuring the Kids Zone!' presented by Sodexho. The events are free of charge to all Sun Devil fans and will open 20 minutes prior to Saturday and Sunday's home contests against nationally ranked Baylor. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. on both days.

The Kids Zone, which is located behind the first base line grandstands, will feature interactive games from Arizona Amusements that include speed pitch, an inflatable bouncer, balloon twisters and more. Arizona State University baseball and Sodexho encourage fans to bring their kids to Packard Stadium and have a great time while enjoying Sun Devil baseball. Sodexho will offer hot dogs, cotton candy, Coca-Cola and other concessions to fans in attendance at all Sun Devil baseball games.

'We are excited to provide a fun atmosphere for all of our fans and make Packard Stadium one of the most enjoyable experiences in college baseball,' said 11th year head coach Pat Murphy. 'The fun zone will give our younger fans an opportunity to come out and enjoy a great day at the ballpark with Sun Devil baseball.'

Arizona State Baseball and Sodexho will offer the Kids Zone at every Saturday and Sunday home baseball game for the remainder of the season.

The Kids Zone will be available during the following home baseball dates:

Sun 2/27 - Baylor
Sat 3/19 - Oklahoma
Sun 3/20 - Oklahoma
Sat 4/2 - Wright State
Sun 4/3 - Wright State

Sun 4/24 - UCLA

Mon 5/16 - Arizona
Sat 5/28 - Washington State
Sun 5/29 - Washington State
