No. 30 California Loses to No. 11 USC, 5-2

Berkeley - The No. 30 California men's tennis team fell to No. 11 USC, 5-2, in Los Angeles today. With the loss, the Golden Bears' record drops to 4-3 overall while the Trojans improve to 5-4.
USC opened the match by capturing the doubles point, winning two of three matches. Cal's Tyler Browne and Daniel Sebescen came away with the Bears' lone doubles victory, defeating Drew Hoskins and Kaes Van't Hof, 8-5, on court two.
Cal picked up two victories in singles play. Sophomore Browne, playing on court four, picked up his fifth dual match win of the season, defeating Brian Wright, 4-6; 6-4 (10-5). Freshman Ken Nakahara improved to 6-0 on court five, picking up his 14th win of the season in defeating Van't Hof in three sets, 6-3; 3-6; 6-3.
The Bears will face UCLA tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
