No. 28 California Falls to No. 11 Texas A&M, 6-1

Berkeley - The No. 28 California men's tennis team fell to No. 11 Texas A&M, 6-1, at the Hellman Tennis Center. With the loss, the Golden Bears record now stands at 4-5 overall, while the Aggies improve to 5-1 on the season.
The match opened with Texas A&M taking the doubles point after winning close matches on courts two and three, both by scores of 9-7. Court two saw the Aggies' Zach Malmgren and Bryan Wooten defeat Tyler Browne and Daniel Sebescen, while Mohamed Dakki and Jerry Makowski beat the Bears' Lennart Maack and Dean Wallace on court three.
Cal sophomore Sebescen picked up the Bears' lone singles victory, defeating Dakki on court four in straight sets, 6-3; 6-3. The win is Sebescen's eighth on the year, and third in the dual season.
The Bears next travel to La Jolla, CA, for this weekend's Pacific Coast Doubles Championships.
