Men's Golf Team Heads to Florida For Irish Spring Invitational

What's Happening: The Cougar men's golf team heads to Howie-in-the-Hills, Fla., for the 2005 Irish Spring Invitational at the El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort...two rounds of play March 7...final 18 holes March 8...results after each day of play will be posted at www.wsucougars.com.
The Field: Joining Washington State in the 13-team field are Ball State, Colorado State, Penn State, Rollins, Bowling Green, Eastern Kentucky, Mississippi State, San Diego State, Wichita State, Cleveland State, Notre Dame, and Richmond.
Last Week: The Cougars finished 14th last week at the Ashworth Collegiate Invitational...redshirt junior David Fern led the Cougars with a 35th place finish.
First For Fern: Washington State redshirt junior David Fern captured his first career tournament victory, Feb. 14, at the Inland Cup at the Walla Walla Country Club. Fern has finished in the top 25 in five of seven tournament this season.
Bryson sets school record at Boise: Cougar Senior Ben Bryson recorded his first career tournament victory at the Boise State Bronco Round-up, Oct. 12 at the Boise Ranch Golf Course. Bryson's 54-hole total of 204 (-9) tied him with Dustin White for the lowest three-round total in school history.
