Husky Golfers Slip Back to 11th at Southern Highlands

Las Vegas, NV - The 24th-ranked Washington men's golf team is in 11th place heading into Sunday's final round of play at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship. The Huskies shot 15-over 303 during Saturday's second round. Host UNLV grabbed the tournament lead at 575. The Rebels lead top-ranked Oklahoma State and Arizona State by one stroke.
Washington sophomore Erik Olson is the top Husky on the leaderboard in 22nd place. He shot 73 for the second straight day for a 36-hole total of 143. James Lepp fell back to 48 after carding a 78 for a two-day total of 149. Alex Prugh is 47th at 150, Travis Andrews is 62nd at 153 and Joe Panzeri is 69th at 156.
South Carolina's Mark Anderson continues to lead the tournament at 6-under 138.
