No. 31 California Falls to No. 19 Pepperdine, 5-2

Berkeley - The No. 31 California men's tennis team fell to No. 19 Pepperdine, 5-2, this afternoon at the Hellman Tennis Center. With the loss, the Golden Bears record falls to 5-6 overall, while Pepperdine improves to 9-2 overall.
In singles play, the Bears notched two wins. Court four saw sophomore Daniel Sebescen recover from dropping the first set, defeating Johnson in three sets, 1-6; 6-4, 6-2. Sophomore Tyler Browne recorded Cal's other victory, defeating Alexis Rafidison in straight sets, 6-2; 6-3.
The Bears begin their first of six consecutive away matches next Sunday, March 20 when they take on the SMU Mustangs at 12 noon in Dallas, TX.
