USC'S Blythe Hartley Named Pac-10 Women's Diver of the Month

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - STANFORD diver Blythe Hartley has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Women's Diver of the Month for February, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Hartley a junior from North Vancouver, B.C., took home the Pac-10 title in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard at the Pac-10 Diving Championship, held Feb. 23-26 in Federal Way, Wash. Hartley, who was named the Diver of the Championship, now has six Conference diving titles for her career. She won three Conference titles in 2003 and another in 2002. Harley also won the 1-meter and platform events at the 2002 NCAA Championships, and was named the Pac-10 and NCAA Women's Diver of the Year.
Hartley competed in the 2004 Olympics for the Canadian National Team, winning a bronze medal in Athens in 10-meter synchronized diving.
This is the second monthly honor for Hartley, and USC's second Diver of the Month all-time.
